Dr. Callaway received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from LSU in Baton Rouge and his MD from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. After completing an internship at Confederate Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Callaway obtained his urology residency training at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Urology in Adult and Pediatric urology and holds both a Louisiana and Texas medical license. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society.

Dr. Callaway has been a clinical associate professor of urology at LSU School of Medicine and has served on numerous boards and committees. He has been a board member of the Christus Schumpert Foundation and has been Chief of Surgery at Christus Schumpert Medical Center.

Dr. Callaway enjoys spending time with his wife, two grown children and grandsons. His hobbies include cycling, running, golf, landscaping, hunting, and flying.
