Tobin H. Grigsby, M.D.
Dr. Grigsby graduated from C.E. Byrd High School in 1960 and pursued his pre-medical education at Tulane University in New Orleans. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1967. His internship was at the Confederate Memorial Medical Center and he completed his residency training in urology at the Confederate Memorial Medical Center in 1974. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. from 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam War. He has practiced urology in the Shreveport-Bossier area since 1974. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Urology.
He is a member and past president of the Louisiana State Urological Society and belongs to the American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association, Louisiana State Medical Society and Southern Society of Urological Surgeons. He is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bossier Medical Center and Chief of Staff at Doctors Hospital.
Dr. Grigsby enjoys all aspects of general urology but has a special interest in oncology and impotence, including penile implants.
Dr. Grigsby has three sons. His hobbies include breeding and racing thoroughbred horses, golf, snow skiing and baseball.
