Chris Stage, M.D.

Dr. Stage completed his undergraduate education, consisting of a Bachelor of  Science in Biology, in 1997 from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.  He then attended LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, obtaining his medical doctorate in 2001.  His surgical internship was undertaken at U.T. Houston Health Sciences Center.  It was there that he also completed his urology residency training, serving as chief resident during the 2005-2006 academic year.  His residency included rotations at several prominent Houston hospitals, including 16 months of training at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Stage is a member of the American Urological Association and has presented papers at its sectional meetings in the past.  He has also published articles related to the topics of benign prostatic hyperplasia and kidney cancer.  Other memberships include the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society, Shreveport Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society, American Medical Association, and the Endourological Society.   He has dual licenses in both Louisiana and Texas.  Although he is trained in all aspects of general urology, his special interests include complex stone disease and endourology,  laparoscopic kidney surgery, female urology, and minimally invasive techniques for benign prostatic hyperplasia. 

Dr. Stage is married to Christina Mills Stage, who is from Bossier City.  He has two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kendall.  His hobbies include traveling, running, weightlifting, skiing, and hunting.
