Caitlyn Mathias is a nationally certified physician assistant that joined Regional Urology in 2017. Caitlyn was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and completed her undergraduate education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then made her way back home and obtained her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at LSU Health Shreveport. She practices general adult urology with special interests in stone disease and female urology such as overactive bladder, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Additionally, she is trained in performing our MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser. Caitlyn is also involved with our research department and actively participates in numerous clinical studies offering innovative forms of therapy to our patients.

Caitlyn is married to Austin Mathias and they have a one-year-old daughter, Mae Mathias. Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending LSU football games, being outdoors, traveling, and attempting to prepare a tasty meal.
